HKCCSE/South organised on July 1 a follow up meeting of our Bridging seminar in Lund and Hong Kong simultaneously on June 5. The meeting was organised as a lunch meeting at Ideon Science Park in Lund. Among the participating organisations were Lund University, Region Skåne and Ideon. Sponsor was Ideon.
A background to the meeting was the developing political situation in Hong Kong, another was the future possibilities and strategies for cooperation between Hong Kong and Skåne, e. g. implementation of the existing MoU between organisations in Hong Kong and Skåne, and -not least – the new soft landing agreement between Hengquin and Ideon Science Park. Naturally, the Greater Bay Area and its challenges and opportunities was discussed. The keynote speaker and leading presenter was Björn Segerblom, Honorary Chair of HKCCSE, and a very well known Hong Kong profile since more than 20 years. Bengt Streijffert, chair of HKCCSE South, was moderator. He promised more lunch meetings.
