During three days, 27-29 April, The Bridge by Altitude arranged #GetReadyforCOP26, a climate conference where Nordic companies shared some of their smartest climate solutions – to inspire others, start new collaborations and gather take-aways for the postponed COP26 negotiations in Glasgow in November.
Almost 100 speakers discussed the six topics Transport, Energy, Waste, Food, Textile and Construction, joined by some of the leading profiles within the sustainability world; Mattias Goldmann, Sweco, Lena Ek, former Minister of Environment, Jakob Lagercrantz, 2030-secretariat, Zitouni Ould-Dada, Agriculture Organization of the United Nations FAO and Mattias Frumerie, Head of Delegation to UNFCCC UN at the Swedish Ministry of Environment.
HKCCSE Chair Torborg Chetkovich was one of the speakers, together with Hong Kong-based Karine Hirn from East Capital, Anne-Louise from Thon SDG Lead & SDG Invest and Hampus Jakobsson from Pale Blue Dot, she talked about green investments in the session “Climate friendly investments – an obvious way forward”.
Per Augustsson, Swedish Consul General in Hong Kong also participated, in the final session “Benchmarking around the world”, where the conference was wrapped up and summarized as a take-away to COP26 in November.
