Postponed until autumn due to covid-19: The Chamber supports SME’s going global
March 11, 2020 @ 8:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Small and medium sized companies in Sweden (and many other countries) have to reach out and “go global”. That is to discover new markets and contexts, new ideas, new partners, investment possibilities, etc. They are often too small to find these markets and the new rules and conditions out there on their own.
Ideon Science Parks and Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce’s Chapter South are now planning a one-day-meeting to support SME’s in southern Sweden to go global. It will be arranged as a web conference with four global target areas, Lund, Hong Kong, New York and Silicon valley, connected simultaneously. The web presentations will have follow ups in the afternoon with group or person to person discussions with local crews and possibilities for further contacts.
Ideon is one of the oldest and biggest science parks in Europe and is now also the European home for UNOPS (UN innovation centre).

This is the second web conference organized by HKCCE’s Chapter South. On June 5, 2019, a web conference between Hong Kong and Lund was organized on regional development in the Greater Bay Area and Öresund, both being new “bridge regions”. Secretary Patrik Nip was keynote speaker. More information about this conference you find here: https://www.hongkong.se/2019/07/01/watch-the-video-from-the-hong-kong-oresund-seminar/
